Milna (Island Brač)

Milna island Brac

Milna is located on the western part of the island Brac, one of the Croatian Dalmatian islands. Only 18 kilometers from Supetar, it is famous for its marvelous bay, in which the ships of the emperor Diocletian found a secure harbor in the time of the building of his palace in Split. Today Milna is a sleepy village; there is a marina with several berths which attracts many a famous name arriving on their fabulous mega yachts, we think it is like St Tropez forty years ago! Milna is the best natural harbor on the island of Brac. Nice coves with sand and pebble beaches (Pasika, Osibova, Lucice, Maslinova) stretch in the vicinity of the harbor. There is also a very nice public beach at the cove of Vlaska. Sports and recreational facilities are available and include soccer, basketball and volleyball playgrounds, bocce grounds and table tennis. For those that prefer more active vacations, Milna offers many activities such as swimming, scuba-diving, fishing and spear-fishing, surfing and sailing.
