Krk

Krk is a Croatian island in the northern Adriatic Sea, located near Rijeka in the Bay of Kvarner, with the bridge connection to the mainland.

Traditionally, Krk had been thought to be the largest Adriatic island, with an area of 405.78 km2, until geographical survey and remeasurements done in 2011 determined that the neighboring island of Cres has an equal surface area.

It is a diverse island that offers variety of attractions and experiences. There you can visit a thousand years old towns, small rural villages, well equipped city beaches, secluded swimming bays, lively bars and clubs and small and quiet restaurants and caffe bars.
